Printer Buying Guide
With such a large variety of printers available on the market choosing a one can seem like a daunting task. There are many types including multifunction printers, photo, inkjet and laser printers. Generally if you are printing photographs it is better to use an inkjet or ideally a photo printer however if you've a lot of documents to print then a laser printer is ideal.
The main factor to consider is what the printer will be used for and the amount of printing you will doing.
Homeusers
If you just do occasional printing, an inkjet is a good option. You can get multifunctional inkjet printers that will also scan and copy at very reasonable prices.
Photographer
If you plan to use mainly to print photographs then a photo printer should suit you're needs. Photo printers have come a long way in terms of quality, it can be difficult to tell the difference between a photograph printed on a photo printer and a photograph produced the conventional way. Most photo printers can produce good quality photographs however the more expensive photo printers generally offer you extra features or faster photo printing. However if you're serious about photography and want guaranteed photolab quality photos then you may need to pay more and purchase a professional photo printer.
Home Office
If you have Home Office sometimes space can be a factor so that is why many home offices choose a multifunctional version, you can get a multifunctional printer that has printing, copying, scanning and faxing facilities. You can get inkjet multifunction printers or laser multifunction printers however it might be more economical to purchase a laser version if you have a lot of printing as the cost per print page is cheaper so in the long run a multifunction laser printer can work out cheaper.
Business
If you have a business you will you probably require a printer with more memory, fast processing time so you can process multiple print jobs at one time and you can print lots of documents. You may also want a printer with network features so multiple staff can access the printer. You should also consider the size of the paper you print on, whether or not you require duplex printing facilities etc.
Most business owners understand that paying extra for a good quality laser printer is a worthwhile investment as it may work out more economical in the long run when you calculate the cost per page. You can choose a mono laser printer or a colour laser printer. Many small businesses only have a small requirement for colour printing so they often purchase a high quality mono laser printer and maybe a small inkjet for any colour printing they might do from time to time, it's really depends on the requirements of the business.
When purchasing a high quality printer make sure you take the time to not only compare prices and features but you should also compare warranties and the price of the consumables.

Computer Freezes - What Can I Do?
A few days ago I was talking to a friend who had a problem with his computer. He told me that as soon as he turned his computer on, it would freeze up and say it was using 100% of the resources. At first he suspected a virus. He ran some scans with anti-virus and anti-spy-ware software but it didn't come up with anything. He was stuck with a computer that wouldn't let him do anything. Be it to use the Internet or watch a movie.
I told him to check the following:
1. Check if you have dust in your computer ventilator. This will make your processor very hot very fast. If this is your problem it's simply a matter of removing the dust.
2. Try doing a system recovery to a date when you know the computer worked like it should. If this works it's simply about not doing the same mistake you did when your computer started freezing the first time.
3. Check your processes. If you click CTRL + ALT + Delete, that should bring up your current processes. If you see something that's taking a lot of your systems resources see if that's an application you need. If it's not something you need, then uninstall it. If it is a program you need. Try to uninstall it and then reinstall it to see if it takes up less system resources. If that doesn't work you can always try to find an alternative program that's lighter and does the same thing.
4. If you have a desktop computer that wasn't assembled at the factory, your hard drives might be too close together and therefor overheat. A good tool to use Hard rive Diagnostics Tool. If your computer freezes randomly this might be it.
5. Update your drivers. This can be the thief in the equation a lot of the times. To update your drivers visit your PC manufacturers website.
6. Try a registry cleaner. The registry cleaner will clean up among all the trash files that are created in your registry when installing and uninstalling programs on your PC. There are a lot of them out there, you can find recommendations on my website.
7. Format your computer. This should be your last resort though. Make sure you back up everything you need before. You should also make sure you have a good copy of Windows so you can reinstall it without running in to any problems.
With these 7 tips you should be able to solve the problem of your computer freezing.

How to Find Your Computer's IP Address
Every computer connected to the Internet is assigned at least one IP address to differentiate it from other computers on the network. Knowing your IP can be beneficial in several ways. One advantage of this is if you have a website, you would be able to deduct the hits to your website from the total hits displayed by your website counter (if you are using one). This way you will get to know the actual unique views of your site. Finding a computer IP address can be easily achieved.
This article will help you find your IP address easily. Below are specific instructions for Windows & Mac.
For Windows 7, Vista or XP users
1. Go to the Start menu
2. Now click Run, and in the dialog box that appears next, type "CMD" (without the quotes.)
2. You will see a dark window that is otherwise known as the command prompt window or DOS window.
3. Type "IPCONFIG" (without the quotes) and then press ENTER.
4. Now you will be able to see some network information, along with the IP of your computer.
If you want to know more details about your computer IP, then type "IPCONFIG /ALL" (again without the quotes) in the command prompt window instead of just the "IPCONFIG" which you typed in step 3 above.
This /ALL addition will provide you some additional details of your computer along with the IP address. This step is more useful to you in case you have a router or network set up, as in this case you will not be shown your actual IP address by the "IPCONFIG" command. Instead you will be shown an IP similar to 192.168.1.x which is the IP provided to you by your Internet Service Provider.
For Mac Users
OS X 10.6 or 10.5
1. From the Apple menu, select System Preferences
2. In System Preferences, Go to the View menu & select Network.
3. In the Network preference window, click a network port (e.g., Ethernet, AirPort, modem). Under "Status:", you'll see your IP address. (if you are connected to the internet of course).
OS X 10.4 or 10.3
1. From the Apple menu, select Location
2. Now select Network Preferences.
3. In the Network Preference window, select Network Status (which is next to "Show:"). You'll see your network status and the IP address of your computer.
